4. Purpose of the processing of personal data

The purpose of the register is to maintain donor information, to develop our services and to manage customer relationships.

5. Information contained in the register

The following data is entered into the register, as applicable:

Address information
E-mail address
Telephone number
Donation information
Information on special interests (voluntary work, for example)
Address source (from where was the address entered into the register)
Roles (such as, donor, magazine recipient)
Permissions (possible contact refusals)
Customer relationship termination information

6. Regular sources of information

The register includes donor information provided by the donors themselves or created based on the customership, or obtained based on donations, for example, from the Fonecta Finder pages. In addition, the register can store such information that is formed in connection to the provision or upkeep of the service (for example donation information, address source or roles).

7. Regular provision of information and transfer of information outside the EU or the EEA

Finn Church Aid does not provide information from its registers to third parties. Information is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

8. Register protection principles

The register is maintained with a data processing system in electronic form. Only persons designated by the controller have the right to access the register. The handling of register information requires that each user enters the defined usernames and passwords.

The information is stored in a database, protected by passwords and firewalls. The controller has organised access control in its premises. When a person makes a donation online, they use a protected connection of the online banking facility. Finn Church Aid only receives information on the electronic banking facility selected, not the bank information of the donor.

Personal information is treated in confidence.

9. Inspection right and correction of data

Information can be corrected or complemented by the controller or at the request of the registered person and by the controller when the customer relationship is terminated.

An individual has the right to inspect their information in the Finn Church Aid donor register and request that erroneous information is corrected. The inspection request must be made by contacting the representative of the controller. The inspection is free of charge, once a year.

10. Other rights

A person entered into the register of Finn Church Aid has the right to deny the provision of their information for direct advertising or another similar purpose, the right to alter the consent of their publication, and the right to resort to other rights defined in the Personal Data Act. If a person does not wish to receive mail from us, they can refuse it by contacting the representative of the controller.
